Technology
The Tasy system has been developed using the Delphi tool while Java language is used for the development of the web applications (internet). An Oracle database is used and the system operates in Windows, Linux, and Unix networks. The graphic interface of the system is of the Windows pattern and this friendly interface facilitates the user implementation and adaptation process.
Architecture: client-server, using only one database server. It is possible, however, to work with WTS servers, making the remote access to the system possible, i.e., through internet.
The system also has an own report generator that provides freedom and independence to the client at extracting information from the database. Besides, Tasy has tools for the interface creation with other systems and allows the creation of screens, such as, research questionnaires and anamneses.
Automation through bar codes is guaranteed by the code issuing and reading patterns, besides the compatibility with the codes issued by material and hospital medication suppliers.
The system is highly able to be parameterized, has online help and the entire database documentation is available to the client.
Biometrics
The Tasy system works with biometric resources. Among the functionalities, we can point out the authentication through the user’s biometry, as well as the localization of natural persons in the various system functions. This guarantees, for example, safety in performing a procedure, besides minimizing the natural person’s cadastre duplicity.
Internet
Wheb Sistemas has developed various functionalities in the web environment (internet) to facilitate and enlarge the communication of the companies that use the Tasy system with their clients and suppliers. Some functionality examples are:
- Exam results for medical doctors’ access

- Electronic purchase quotation
- Management information (indicators)

- Surgery scheduling
Palmtops
In order to guarantee mobility for the assistance team in serving patients, Wheb Sistemas also develops functionalities for portable equipment like palmtops. Some examples:

Wheb – Client Intehgration
Communication between Wheb Sistemas and the IT team is performed through opening online calls. The “Service Order” function is made available in the Tasy system for call documentation, increasing the communication transparency. The use of Wheb Sistemas guarantees agility in serving the client.
SMS
The system is also integrated with companies specialized in communication for SMS sending, i.e., instantaneous messages to cell phones, facilitating the organization’s communication with its clients, employees, and suppliers.
